Sir Prancealot Misses Both Run Huge in 2020 Breeders Cup races.

After Beau Recall was withdrawn for consideration for the Breeders Cup Mile, only 2 Sir Prancealot progeny were left in the 2020 Breeders Cup Championship races: Miss Amulet and Lady Prancealot.

On Friday November 6th, Miss Amulet made her United States debut in the $1,000,000 Breeders Cup Juvenile Filly Turf Stakes-G1.  She settled into a spot behind the leaders on the rail with nowhere to go and was still 7th as they turned into the stretch when she suddenly moved to the middle of the track and closed strongly to grab second before just getting nailed and finishing 3rd in the final jumps beaten 2 3/4 lengths.  Watch race HERE.   This was the 17th Irish-bred Sir Prancealot progeny to race in North America and her debut was the single most impressive as she become the 9th stakes horse (including 4 Stakes winners) among those starters here.

The next day, Lady Prancealot, dismissed as the longest shot in the race at 73.90 to 1ran in the $2,000,000 Maker’s Mark Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf Stakes-G1.  She also settled into a spot behind the leaders on the rail and also was still 7th as they turned into the stretch, then she moved to the outside and close smartly to finished 4th beaten less than one length in what was perhaps the best race of her life.  Watch race HERE.
