Collected Colt Commands $320,000 At Florida 2YO Auction
Ocala, Florida—A speedy colt by leading California sire Collected sold for $320,000 at the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2026 Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale on April 15, attaining lofty status as the Rancho San Miguel stallion’s second-highest-priced juvenile racing prospect to date, and his fourth most expensive offspring to sell at commercial auction.
The six-figure pricetag tallied at twice the sale’s average through its first two days, and more than four times the median.
The athletic colt turned heads with his efficient pre-sale work of one furlong in :9 4/5 on April 8, and was purchased by Leland Ackerley Racing.
Bred in Kentucky by Erv Woolsey and Ralph Kinder, he was consigned to the Florida sale by Longoria Training & Sales, which had acquired him for $60,000 at the 2025 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. His dam is the winning Flatter mare You Flatter Me, whose four foals of racing age are all winners.
Collected, a 13-year-old son of City Zip and winner of the 2017 Pacific Classic Stakes (G1), is standing this season for $7,500.
