- With a limited opportunity at stud in terms of crop size, Sought After has put together impressive statistics with 14 winners and 2 stakes horses from 19 starters and earnings of over $539,000.
- Sought After had eight winners from nine starters in 2008.
- From a six-foal third crop, Sought After had three winners from three starters as two-year-olds, including Control Seeker, second in the I’m Smokin Stakes at Del Mar and Cross Fire who set a new 4 1/2 furlong track record of :51.32 at Golden Gate.
- In 2009 top two-year-old earner, Seeking the Queen out of Queen of Soul ,went three for three, breaking her maiden in September and earning over $65,000.
- Sought After had three winners from five starters in 2009.
- Long recognized as one of Mr. Prospector’s most important “stallion” sons, Seeking the Gold has sired 88 stakes winners (48 graded) and progeny with earnings of nearly $85 million.
